The exhibition has been organised as a joint event with the British branch of "Matica hrvatska". Pavlinic has shown 48 paintings for this retrospective, in different techniques and styles. He also worked with professor Šulentic on the monumental fresco in Marija Bistrica. Portraits and landscapes are Pavlinic''s favourite subjects. Many of the landscapes were painted from memory and photographs and thus represent reflections of the author''s nostalgia for his country.
