Presentation of the Croatian nautical tourism in Helsinki
Croatian National Tourist Board in collaboration with the Croatian Chamber of Commerce participated in the International Boat Show in Helsinki from 13-21 February 2010. Helsinki Boat Show is one of the major European boat shows with over 80.000 visitors. A special presentation of the Croatian tourist offer, with an emphasis on nautical tourism for Finnish tour operators, journalists and tourism professionals was held on 18 February. Along the representatives of Croatian tourism and Vice President of air carrier company Blue1 Juha Järvinen, attendees were also welcomed by the Ambassador Dr. Damir Kušen. The last year's Blue1 direct flights from Helsinki to Split and Dubrovnik were discussed and it has been agreed that possibility of introducing some new lines to Pula or Zagreb may be considered for next year.
