Finnish Minister of Justice Visited Croatia

Finnish Minister of Justice Visited Croatia Minister of Justice, Ms. Tuija Brax visited Zagreb on 15-16 March 2010. During her visit to Croatia, Minister Brax met with the Croatian Minister of Justice, Dr. Ivan Simonovic. The two Ministers discussed justice sector reforms in Croatia, related to EU accession negotiations.

Finnish Minister of Justice Visited Croatia Minister of Justice, Ms. Tuija Brax visited Zagreb on 15-16 March 2010. During her visit to Croatia, Minister Brax met with the Croatian Minister of Justice, Dr. Ivan Simonovic. The two Ministers discussed justice sector reforms in Croatia, related to EU accession negotiations. Minister Brax expressed Finland´s support for Croatia's efforts in meeting the EU criteria. Brax emphasized the importance of judicial reforms and respect for human rights. Ministers Brax and Simonovic also discussed Finnish experiences, in particular, the Law on Enforcement and the Institute of Public Bailiffs which have been very successful in Finland.
