The Brodosplit choir held an evening concert on 15 April 2010 in Helsinki's Vanha Kirkko church, organized by the Croatian Embassy in Finland. Along the members of the Croatian community, the concert was attended by representatives of cultural and political life of the city of Helsinki and the foreign ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps.
Brodosplit choir performed works by Gotovac, Hatze, Berdovic, Tudor, Slavenski, Sunko and Papandopulo, as well as and Mendelssohn, Biebl, Galklus and Finnish composer Madetoja.
The Brodosplit choir participates at the prestigious international festival of male choruses "Leevi Madetoja" in the Finnish city of Espoo, near Helsinki, from April 15 to 19. Special reception has been held at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Helsinki, where the Ambassador Dr. Damir Kušen warmly welcomed the Choir and wished them a successful appearance at the upcoming festival. In his welcoming speech he stressed the quality of Brodosplit shipyard that built three major passenger ships in late eighties, which still connect Helsinki to Stockholm.
