Exhibition about Nikola Tesla opened at prestigious Aalto University At the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Helsinki, and organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Technical Museum and the Croatian History Museum, the exhibition "Nikola Tesla - The man who lit the world" was opened at the Aalto University on Thursday, 25th March 2010.

Exhibition about Nikola Tesla opened at prestigious Aalto University At the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Helsinki, and organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Technical Museum and the Croatian History Museum, the exhibition "Nikola Tesla - The man who lit the world" was opened at the Aalto University on Thursday, 25th March 2010. The opening of the exhibition was attended by numerous professors and students of Finnish universities, along with Vice President of the Aalto University Professor Jorma Kyyrä, Undersecretary of State in the Finnish Foreign Ministry Pekka Huhtaniemi, Director of the Technical Museum Davor Fulanovic, members of the diplomatic corps and the Croatian community in Finland. The exhibition was opened by Professor Matti Pursula, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, who expressed gratitude for organizing the exhibition about Tesla and his contribution to world science. He said that this exhibition will contribute to further strengthening of already good partnership of Finland and Croatia in areas of education, science and research. Ambassador Dr. Damir Kušen thanked Aalto University and all institutions that have contributed to the organization of the exhibition. He specifically mentioned that Finland, as a global leader in high technology and innovation, is the best place for the presentation of Tesla's top inventions and achievements. Exhibition author Mr. Mario Filipin has presented in detail the life and work of Nikola Tesla.
