Ambassador Dr. Damir Kušen visited Biocenter Oulu on invitation of Prof. Johanna Myllyharju, Director of Biocenter Oulu. Center is a national seat of biotechnology clusters in the field of biomedicine, biochemistry and molecular genetics and cancer. Ambassador Kušen briefly presented Croatian institutions in the field of biotechnology (School of Medicine, Faculty of Food Technology, Ruder Boškovic Institute and Medils). BioCenter Oulu has expressed a desire to establish cooperation with Croatian institutes and Prof. Sinikka Eskelinen, coordinator of doctoral studies, has expressed interest to invite a guest lecturer among leading Croatian scientists.
