Croatian Embassy participated in marking of the Europe Day Embassy in Helsinki presented Croatia as an attractive tourist destination and a country of exceptional biodiversity in the traditional event in the celebration of Europe Day in Helsinki.

Croatian Embassy participated in marking of the Europe Day Embassy in Helsinki presented Croatia as an attractive tourist destination and a country of exceptional biodiversity in the traditional event in the celebration of Europe Day in Helsinki. Croatian booth in the main square in Helsinki was organized in cooperation with and support by the Croatian National Tourist Board. Promotional materials on Croatia were handed to numerous interested citizens. The event, in addition to two dozen embassies, joined the Finnish government, political parties and NGOs. Program of celebrations was attended by Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen, Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb, Minister for European Affairs Astrid Thors, Finnish lawmakers in the European Parliament and others.
