The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Ireland and the Galway 2020 co–hosted a concert by the Zagreb Guitar Quartet on 29 September 2018 at Galway 2020, Galway.
With a programme named ‘Bersa and his contemporaries for four guitars’ the Zagreb Guitar Quartet celebrated the Croatian composer Blagoje Bersa, as well as his contemporaries Manuel de Falla, Maurice Ravel and Claudea Debussy.
The guests to the concert were welcomed by Marilyn Reddan Gaughan, Galway 2020 Programme and European Funding Manager, Cllr. Niall McNelis, Mayor of Galway, and Ivan Mašina, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Ireland.
