The opening was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, cultural and political milieu and the Croatian community in Ireland.

The Blue Leaf Gallery in Dublin hosted the opening of the exhibition of Croatian painter Josip Lizatovic on Thursday, 19 May 2007 at Dublin's Filmbase in Temple Bar. The opening was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, cultural and political milieu and the Croatian community in Ireland.
The exhibition was opened by the Croatian Ambassador Mr Veselko Grubisic, who stressed the importance of political, economical and cultural relations between Croatia and Ireland. He also mentioned the importance of the recently launched Commemorative silver proof coin by the Central Bank of Ireland and the Croatian National Bank with the “Girl with the Harp” design by Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrovic. He expressed his hope for further strengthening of relations between Croatia and Ireland upon the introduction of more direct flights.
The exhibition will be opened until 04 May 2007 at the Blue Leaf Gallery, 10 Marino Mart, Fairview, Dublin 3, Phone 01-833 3456.
