World renowned Croatian pianist Ivo Pogorelic will perform at the National Concert Hall in Dublin as part of the Irish Times Celebrity Concert Series 2009/2010 on Wednesday, 2 June 2010 at 8 pm.
Ivo Pogorelic, whose debut recitals in London, Paris, Madrid, Brussels, Milan, Rome, Tel Aviv and New York's Carnegie Hall are legendary, returned to the concert circuit in 2007 following a short break. Martha Argerich who called him “a genius”, is an advocate of the gifted pianist who will undertake a long list of recital and concert engagements in Europe and tours to Japan and South America. An exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artist, he has made over 15 recordings and in 2006 he started publishing his material on DVD.
