In Dun Laoghaire in Ireland from 23 to 30 July 2016 two ILCA Association championships - Laser Radial Men"s World Championship and the Laser Radial Youth World Championship will take place. The Croatian senior team will be represented by Mario Novak, Dino Sindik, Marin Desabota and Alec Cvinar, among 42 sailors from 18 countries. In the junior championship at the same time Croatia will be represented by Stipe Gaspic, Ante Jušic, Dominik Perkovic, Marko Smolic and Sven Stevanovic. In the whole competition a total of 231 sailors from 42 countries will participate. In the competition of 76 female athletes from 25 countries Sandra Lulic will sail. The Croatian Ambassador to Ireland Ivan Mašina was present at the opening ceremony where he took the opportunity to welcome the sailors and to wish them a lot of success in the competition.
