Celebration of the 30th Anniversary of International Recognition of the Republic of Croatia in Dublin

On January 31st the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Ireland hosted a concert by Ensemble Illyrica on the occasion of the Celebration of the 30th Anniversary of International Recognition of the Republic of Croatia in Dublin. The concert was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Ireland, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Chaplaincy in Dublin.
With their concert programme Illyrica celebrated Croatian – American composer James Budinich and young Croatian composer Mak Murtić, as well as works by the composers Joseph Haydn, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Leo Brouwer. The concert also included an instrumental version of the Croatian ballad „Galeb i ja“ .
