Ambassador Ivan Mašina Presented Credentials to Uachtarán na hÉireann Mr. Michael D. Higgins

On the Presentation of Credentials Ceremony held on the 23rd September 2015, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia Mr. Ivan Mašina presented to Uachtarán na hÉireann Mr. Michael D. Higgins, a Letter of Credence by the President of the Republic of Croatia Mrs. Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, by which he took his office as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Ireland. The ceremony of the presentation of credentials was held at Áras an Uachtaráin with Military Honours. President Higgins and Ambassador Mašina were exchanged their views concerning the Irish-Croatian relationship, about the current situation in the European Union and South-East Europe. At the ceremony, President Higgins was accompanying by Joe McHugh, T.D., Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs and Natural Resources, Art O’Leary, Secretary-General to the President and Eoin O’Leary, Assistant Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. On behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Dublin, Anamarija Džidic, Second Secretary, attended the ceremony of the presentation of credentials.
