Croatian Consul General in Munich Vladimir Duvnjak attended presentation of Augsburg University Award for Reconciliation and Understanding between Nations to Ambassador Richard C. Holbrooke

In a talk with Consul General Duvnjak after the presentation, Ambassador Holbrooke inquired about the current state of affairs in Croatia, its progress in the EU accession negotiations, and commended its active participation in the ISAF mission in Afghanistan.

The Augsburg University Award for Reconciliation and Understanding between Nations is awarded biannually. Ambassador Holbrooke is currently the peace mediator for Afghanistan and Pakistan, appointed earlier this year by US President Barack Obama.
