Croatia’s support for Ukraine, humanitarian assistance to Gaza in focus at Gymnich meeting

On 29-30 August 2025, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman participated in the informal meeting of the EU foreign ministers, held in Copenhagen.
 
In the discussion on Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, Grlić Radman reiterated Croatia’s strong and unwavering support for Ukraine and stressed the importance of a unified and decisive European response.
 
Addressing the situation in the Middle East, the minister emphasized the need to provide continuous humanitarian assistance to the population in Gaza and to pursue a coordinated European approach aimed at achieving a ceasefire and de-escalation in the region.
