Croatian delegation at the Universiade in Shenzhen 2011
From 28 to 30 August, 2011, Ambassador Ante Simonić visited the Croatian delegation which participated at the Shenzhen Universiade 2011. Croatia was represented by 17 athletes who competed in athletics, gymnastics, sailing, judo, archery, shooting, taekwondo and tennis. Sailor Daniel Mihelić won the gold medal in the Laser Standard category.
During his stay in Shenzhen, Ambassador Simonić met with the members of the Croatian sports delegation, led by Mr. Roland Strumberger, Secretary General of the Croatian University Sports Federation, and attended the closing ceremony of the Universiade.
