TRAVELS TO CROATIA FROM 4TH TO 6TH OF JULY 2025

In Zagreb, a large open-air concert is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in the evening, with organizers indicating that approximately 500,000 visitors are expected to attend.

Due to this, several days before the event, and especially on the day of the concert, July 5, 2025, intense car traffic on the motorways A2, A3, and A4 heading towards Zagreb from all directions is anticipated. Particular congestion is expected from the south via motorways A1 and A6, especially on the Zagreb bypass.

We especially emphasize that after the concert, during the night from Saturday to Sunday, July 5 to 6, 2025, significant traffic jams are expected, and we suggest avoiding travel to or around Zagreb during that time.

Within Zagreb itself, especially high vehicular and pedestrian traffic is expected, with certain routes experiencing traffic disruptions caused by temporary traffic regulations from July 4th to 6th, 2025.

Given the expected congestion on main routes, we advise all tourists planning road travel through or across Zagreb—either on route to Croatian tourist destinations or returning from Croatian destinations to their home countries—to plan their trips one or more days before Saturday, July 5, 2025. We also recommend staying informed by checking traffic updates in English on the Second Program of Croatian Radio, via the HAK website, and the Croatia Traffic Info app.

All the mentioned information as well as alternative travel road routes can be found on the websites of the Croatian Automobile Club (HAK)
