The Embassy Participated in Europe Day Celebration in Beijing

Beijing, 8 May 2026. The Europe Day was celebrated in the premises of the Delegation of the European Union, once again drawing a large number of visitors. The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia presented the visitors with Adriatic Queen fish delicacies from the Brač company Sardina d.o.o., thanks to the forthcoming support of the Chinese importer, and in the run up to the World Cup, fan merchandises were also distributed, sparking great interest, which comes as no surprise given the immense recognition of the "checkers" (kvadratići) in China. The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs responsible for relations with Europe Hua Chunying visited the booths of the EU member states, stopping at the Croatian booth, from which she left with a fan bracelet and a luggage tag depicting a gingerbread heart.
