Croatian Ambassador to South Africa Dr. Nenad Prelog presented his credentials to President of the Republic of South Africa Jacob Zuma on 16 October 2014 in Pretoria. As South Africa is celebrating 20 years of freedom and democracy in 2014, in his speech to the newly appointed ambassadors to Pretoria, President Zuma recalled the significance of the President Nelson Mandela and the ANC president OR Tambo in the struggle against apartheid and their immense contribution to the development of the democracy in South Africa.
