It is not true that the translations Croatia has sent to the countries of the region are incorrect. At the time of their submission in 2010 these were working documents and unofficial versions, which was clearly stated on them, which have not been proofread and edited.

For the Croatian versions of the EU legal documents to be considered official, after translation as well as linguistic and/or expert editing in Croatia they had to be proofread and edited by the EU Publications Office in Luxembourg and examined by lawyer-linguists at the Commission, Parliament and Council of the EU. The lawyer-linguists began checking the Croatian version of the acquis in early-2012, after the signing of the Accession Treaty.

All edited documents can be found on the webpages of EUR-Lex and MFAE.
