The Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes the election of Boris Tadić as the president of Serbia, in which it recognises the commitment of the majority of the citizens of Serbia to the building of the country’s future based on European values and standards
The Republic of Croatia expects that the proclaimed European orientation of the newly-elected president will be directed towards developing good neighbourly relations and strengthening regional stability, in which Croatia, as a candidate country for the EU membership, is willing to give in full contribution through its active foreign policy.
