The 2nd meeting of the Diplomatic Economic Club was held today, 26 May 2004, at the Zagreb Fair Exhibitors’ Club, organised by the Division for International Economic Co-operation of the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The meeting saw 30 economic and trade advisors accredited to Croatia, who ere greeted by Assistant Foreign Minister David Sopta and Zagreb Fair Director Davorin Spevec. The working part included 3 presentations: Free Zones, Small and Middle Sized Enterprises, How to Revive Croatian Rural Areas, and the presentation of the activities of Zagreb Fair.
The talks after the presentations discussed the condition of small and middle sized enterprises in Croatia and the possibility of conducting business in free zones.
