State Secretary Željko Kuprešak received Bulgarian Deputy Foreign Minister Evgenia Koldanova

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the bilateral relations between Croatia and Bulgaria, described as very good and friendly, devoid of outstanding issues. State Secretary Kuprešak and Deputy Minister Koldanova also talked about the current situation in the region and Croatia’s approaching the Euro-Atlantic integration.

In that regard, State Željko Kuprešak reported about the progress of the negotiations on Croatia’s EU membership and thanked for the support Bulgaria is showing Croatia on its path towards the EU and NATO. He pointed out that Croatia greatly appreciates Bulgaria’s support, as well as its willingness to transfer its own experience in those processes.

State Željko Kuprešak and Deputy Minister Koldanova also talked about economic co-operation, agreeing that economic relations and trade still show room for further improvement.
