State Secretary for European Integration Marija Pejčinović Burić received 22 November 2006 to inaugural visit the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Croatia, Catharina Maria Trooster

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of the relations between Croatia and the Netherlands. State Secretary Pejčinović Burić thanked for the assistance Holland is offering Croatia through bilateral pre-accession assistance programs.

State Secretary Pejčinović Burić presented to Ambassador Trooster in detail the structure for Croatia’s EU accession negotiations, as well as the composition and the scope of the bodies set up by it.

The two agreed that complete, timely, and appropriate informing of the public about all of the aspects of the European integration, with the aim of creating a comprehensive and lasting understanding of the EU, the accession process and the membership, are of vital importance for the success of the process.
