State Secretary Pejčinović Burić received representatives of delegation of European Working Group of Hessen State Parliament’s CDU Club of Deputies

The Croatian side thanked for the German support to Croatia’s process of EU and NATO accession. Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the good bilateral relations between the two countries, with no outstanding issues, pointing out the co-operation within the Permanent Croatian-Bavarian Commission and the Mixed Croatia-Baden-Württemberg Commission, as well as the co-operation through the twinning projects.

The Croatian side informed the representatives of the German delegation about the full co-operation with the ICTY, refugee return and co-operation among the South East European countries, informing them also about the justice and state administration reform, as well as the program for combating corruption. The Croatian side presented in short Croatia’s Structure for Conducting the Negotiations and reported on the current events in the accession process.

The German side expressed support to Croatia’s process of acceding to the EU and NATO, stressing its interest for the bilateral relations between Croatia and the Federal State of Hessen to strengthen and further intensify in all areas, especially in political and economic co-operation.
