State Secretary Pejčinović Burić held lecture entitled “Croatia’s Road to the EU – the Negotiations Process”
State Secretary for European Integration Marija Pejčinović Burić held a lecture on 19 February 2007 entitled “Croatia’s Road to the EU – the Negotiations Process” to the attendees of the 10th One-Year Professional Diplomatic Course at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration
In her lecture, State Secretary Pejčinović Burić presented a chronology of the Croatia-EU relations and talked about the establishment of responsible relations and the process of the membership negotiations. She also informed the attendees about Croatia’s negotiation structure, explaining the details about the membership negotiations process and the EU negotiating framework.
Attendees of the One-Year Expert Diplomatic Study are attending lectures on the Croatian history, political system, international relations and policy, European integration and NATO, diplomacy and diplomatic skills, diplomatic protocol, international and diplomatic-consular law, and other subjects concerning the functioning of diplomacy.
