State Secretary for European Affairs Andreja Metelko-Zgombić received 11 April 2018 a Russian delegation led by Deputy Agriculture Minister Elena Astrakhantseva.

The topic of the meeting was the city of Yekaterinburg’s EXPO 2025 bid. The Russian delegation presented the exposition’s concept under the title “Changing the World: Innovations and Better Life for Future Generations”.

The decision on the EXPO 2025 host will be reached by 170 member countries of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) at the 164^th general assembly in November 2018.
