State Secretary Matušić meets with incoming Malawian ambassador

State Secretary for Political Affairs Frano Matušić on Wednesday met with the incoming ambassador of the Republic of Malawi, Joseph John Mpinganjira.
 
The two officials underscored desire for the strengthening of relations between Croatia and Malawi, and boosting cooperation in areas of agriculture, energy, mining, and education. It was pointed out that Croatia’s engagement in Africa was growing stronger, as evidenced by the plan to open a Croatian embassy in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia and headquarters of the African Union.
