During the meeting, State Secretary Pejcinovic-Buric expressed appreciation for the support of the Republic of Slovenia to Croatia's path to the EU and NATO full membership and she presented the current state of accession negotiations between the Republic of Croatia and the European Union as well as Croatia's expectations during the forthcoming period.

Both sides exchanged opinions on current European and bilateral issues and the President of the Committee on EU Affairs Kokalj presented Slovenia's preparations for its EU Presidency in the first half of 2008. President of the Committee Kokalj also pointed out that the further EU enlargement will be one of the priorities during Slovenia's EU Presidency.
