State Secretary for Political Affairs Zdravka Bušić 25 February 2019 held regular political consultations with Deputy Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Josip Brkić.

Croatia and BiH share a wide array of common topics, as well as bilateral political and economic interests. “We want to continue to cherish the highly-developed dynamic of relations with BiH, notably by supporting its Euro-Atlantic processes, stability and security,” Bušić said. Croatia’s interest is lasting peace and stability in BiH, and we will keep pushing that Croats, as one of the country’s three constituent nations, be ensured equal status in regard to Bosniaks and Serbs.

Bušić and Brkić underlined the importance of economic cooperation for the strengthening of relations, adding that it should be further stimulated and expanded. In that regard, the two officials highlighted infrastructural linking, cross-border cooperation, investment climate, as well as continued intensification of cultural and scientific cooperation.
