State Secretary Biščević met in Paris with Secretary General Hubert Colin de Verdière

State Secretary Biščević met in Paris with Secretary General of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hubert Colin de Verdière. Secretary General Colin de Verdière expressed the wish of the French side to intensify co-operation with the Republic of Croatia in bilateral and multilateral plan aimed at Croatia’s sooner integration in the EU. State Secretary Biščević thanked for the Programme signed, which is the first of the kind that Croatia has ever made with any of the EU member states. The Programme will enable Croatia to use French expertise in the process of rapidly acquiring European standards. State Secretary Bišćević and Secretary General Colin de Verdière talked about the situation in the region and Croatia’s way towards Euro-Atlantic integration processes, while the French side particularly welcomed Croatia’s contribution to the stabilisation of the situation in South Eastern Europe.

The meeting between State Secretary Biščević and Secretary General Colin de Verdière marks the ever intensive co-operation between Croatia and France, evidence of which is the French support to Croatia’s European ambitions.
