State Secretary Bianca Matković received on inaugural visit Polish Ambassador Wieslaw Tarka

State Secretary Matković thanked Ambassador Tarka for the support Poland is extending Croatia in its Euro-Atlantic integration processes, especially with respect to the recent ratification of the Protocol on NATO Enlargement to the Republic of Croatia.

Emphasizing that Croatia can continue to count on Poland’s support along its road to the EU and NATO, Ambassador Tarka offered all of the necessary assistance.

In that regard, the two collocutors agreed on a concrete further cooperation between the two countries, especially in military, border control, agriculture, and environmental protection. The two also arranged for an exchange of experts, as well as for the expert working groups from both countries to act within said areas of cooperation.
