State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Gordan Bakota met in Munich with Bavarian Minister for European Affairs and Regional Relations Eberhard Sinner

State Secretary Bakota emphasised the importance of the continuation of the exceptionally good co-operation between Croatia and the Free State of Bavaria, especially within the Croatian-Bavarian Commission which serves as an example to other regional initiatives. State Secretary Bakota communicated to Minister Sinner the invitation by the Croatian Minister for European Integrations Kolinda Grabar Kitarović to visit Croatia, which he gladly accepted. The visit will be realised in march 2005.

Days of Croatian culture are being held in Munich 30 Nov-5 Dec 2004, co-organised by the Croatian Ministry of Culture and the Bavarian State Chancellery, in co-operation with the Croatian Consulate General. The Days of Croatian culture were opened with a concert by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Vjekoslav Šutej, an exhibition entitled “Croatian cultural wealth listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List” and a showing of modern Croatian film.
