State Secretary Bakota met in Moscow with high officials of the Russian Federation’s MFA
State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Bakota paid today, 25 February 2005, a working visit to Moscow, where he met with high officials of the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs
State Secretary Bakota discussed with Director General of the Division for Relations with the Diplomatic Corps of the Russian MFA Ivan Sergejev the permanent solution of the placement of the Croatian embassy in Moscow and the Russian embassy in Zagreb. State Secretary Bakota also met with Deputy Director of the Division for Personnel Vladimir Voronkov, who informed his about the recent administrative reforms in Russia, and the subsequent reforms in the MFA. Bakota and Vornokov talked about the personnel policy and structure of the Croatian and Russian diplomacy personnel.
The recently held political consultations between the two ministries, today’s visit by State Secretary Bakota and the soon to be held consular consultations confirm the intense dynamics of the Croatian-Russian relations.
