State Secretary at the MFAEI Hido Biščević received Irish Ambassador Patrick McCabe
State Secretary for political Affairs at the MFAEI Hido Biščević received today, 7 October 2005, to an inaugural visit Irish Ambassador Patrick McCabe, who handed the copies of his credentials
Ambassador McCabe expressed his satisfaction with the start of the accession negotiations between Croatia and the EU and reiterated Ireland’s strong support to Croatia on that road, saying Ireland is willing to offer Croatia any technical assistance it may need.
The meeting, which also saw the Irish Honorary Consul to Croatia, Ante Čičin-Šain, mentioned the numerous possibilities of the bilateral co-operation between the two countries, especially in science and technology, within the context of a quicker economic development.
