State Secretary Plenković pointed out with satisfaction that the two countries’ relations are characterized by diverse and substantial relations based on a series of bilateral agreements, emphasizing that parliamentary cooperation constitutes an important aspect in the further strengthening of the friendly relations between Croatia and Macedonia

State Secretary Plenković pointed out with satisfaction that the two countries’ relations are characterized by diverse and substantial relations based on a series of bilateral agreements, emphasizing that parliamentary cooperation constitutes an important aspect in the further strengthening of the friendly relations between Croatia and Macedonia. The collocutors agreed that there is room for further enhancement of trade and cultural cooperation, pointing out the important role of the Macedonian minority in Croatia, as well as the Croatian minority in Macedonia.

State Secretary Plenković once again expressed support for Macedonia’s efforts to join NATO and open the EU membership negotiations, and reiterated the willingness to share Croatia’s experiences during all of the accession stages.
