During the courteous visit to State Secretary Plenković, Ambassador Arvaniti reiterated Greece’s constant support for Croatia’s EU membership, pointing out it follows Croatia’s progress towards that goal and expressing hope in the soon completion of the accession negotiations. State Secretary Plenković thanked for Greece’s support and informed the ambassador about the current status of Croatia’s accession negotiation and its intent to close them by the end of this year.

Ambassador Arvaniti and State Secretary Plenković agreed about the two countries’ very good bilateral relations and cooperation in the region of South Eastern Europe.
