State Secretary Andrej Plenković met the Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Republic of Croatia, Yosef Amrani

Bilateral relations between the two countries have been confirmed as very good and friendly characterised by successful cooperation in many areas. Potential for cooperation in the economic sector has been particularly emphasised on that occasion.

State Secretary Plenković informed Ambassador Amrani about the progress of Croatian accession negotiations and expressed hope that they will be completed by the end of this year.

At the meeting they also discussed the Union for the Mediterranean ministerial conference on the environment to be held the following week in Dubrovnik.

They also exchanged information on the situation in the South East Europe and in the Middle East.
