State Secretary Plenković recalled the key stages in the process of Croatia’s EU accession in the past 10 or so years

State Secretary Plenković recalled the key stages in the process of Croatia’s EU accession in the past 10 or so years, pointing out the significantly different context and circumstances within the EU as regards the enlargement policy. He also mentioned the institutional changes in the EU, as well as the new negotiations methodology affecting the duration Croatia’s accession process. He added that Croatia’s goal was to complete the negotiations by end-2010.

The conference was held 29 and 30 April 2010 in Zagreb, co-organized by the Austro-French Centre for Rapprochement in Europe and the Institute for International Relations, and was attended by 100 odd invitees.
