Second day of Croatia Forum begins in Dubrovnik

The second and last day of Croatia Forum, dedicated to the European energy security, started with a panel debate called "Energy Policy of the European Union" in Dubrovnik on Friday.

(Hina) - The second and last day of Croatia Forum, dedicated to the European energy security, started with a panel debate called "Energy Policy of the European Union" in Dubrovnik on Friday.

The participants in the debate, including Latvian and Swedish foreign minister Edgars Rinkevics and Carl Bild and representatives of the foreign ministries of Austria, Slovakia, Lithuania, Portugal and Romania, will focus on the ways to achieve security in supplying homes and industry at affordable and competitive prices.

Croatian Economy Minister Ivan Vrdoljak is scheduled to take part in the final penal discussion "EU Energy Security: Southern Gas Corridor" at Croatia Forum.

During the recess between the two debates, Croatia and Portugal are expected to sign an agreement on avoiding double taxation.

Later today, Croatian Foreign Minister Vesna Pusić will meet her Albanian counterpart Ditmir Bushati, state secretary in the Austrian Foreign Ministry Reinhold Lopatka, Slovakian Deputy Foreign Minister Peter Burian and Swedish Foreign Minister Bildt.
