Regarding decision by Swiss Federal Office of Police on three-year entry ban for Croatian citizen Marko Perković, MFAEI handed diplomatic note to Swiss Ambassador Erich Hermann

The note expresses concern over said decision due to the unfounded reasons the relevant Swiss bodies stated for reaching it

The note expresses concern over said decision due to the unfounded reasons the relevant Swiss bodies stated for reaching it – terrorist threat, violent extremism, forbidden secret services, organized crime, as well as acts or intents that seriously endanger Switzerland’s relations with other countries or are directed at disrupting the state system. The note also states the facts concerning the need to lift the ban, including the fact that not one country has charged or penalized Marko Perković for acts stated by the relevant Swiss bodies.

The note further expresses conviction that the arguments put forth by the Croatian side will be enough for the relevant Swiss bodies to reassess and invalidate the decision to ban Marko Perković from entering Switzerland.
