Pusić and Reeker: Croatia excellent example for region

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić met with Deputy Assistant US Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Reeker. Reeker congratulated Croatia on its success, adding it was an excellent example for other countries in the region. He said that the Croatia-Slovenia agreement and the unanimous ratification of Croatia’s EU accession treaty in the Slovenian parliament the previous week were further indicators that things were moving forward in the region. Pusić and Reeker also discussed the situation in other SEE countries, agreeing that positive circumstances should be used for further progress in European integration.
