Political consultations with Finland

Director-General for Political Affairs Petar Mihatov and Director-General of Political Department at Finland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Piritta Asunmaa held political consultations on 9 June in Zagreb.
 
The two officials exchanged views on the current challenges in Eastern and Southeast Europe, the wider geopolitical context and the initiative to strengthen EU defence capabilities following the adoption of the Strategic Compass.
