As part of the conference presenting the priorities of Croatia’s EU presidency, a panel discussion was held on its key topics and activities. The participants included Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman, Dunja Bujan from the Defence Ministry’s Department of Defence Policy, Sandro Knezović from the Institute of Development and International Relations, Director of the PhD School for Social Sciences and Humanities Mario Vinković, President of the Croatian Defence Industry Competitiveness Cluster Goran Basarac, and Dunja Duić from Osijek’s Faculty of Law.

They discussed the EU as the leading international factor and a guarantor of wellbeing and stability of Southeast Europe. Attending the panel were numerous officials, representative of local and regional authorities, diplomatic corps representatives, members of the academic community and representatives of Croatia’s defence industry, as well as a number of university and high school students.  

The presentation of priorities under the banner of “A Europe that’s Influential” continued the cycle of presentations of Croatia’s umbrella priorities for its upcoming EU presidency in the first half of 2020.
