On the margins of the Strategic Forum in Bled, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Pusić met with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Enver Hoxhaj. On that occasion, Minister Hoxhaj informed his counterpart that Croats would be recognised as a national minority in Kosovo as regulated by law, and that this will be incorporated into the constitutional provisions. A seat in the Kosovo Parliament is also envisioned for the Croatian minority. Hoxhaj thanked Croatia for its support to Kosovo in the process of Euro-Atlantic integration, and requested assistance in the liberalization of the visa regime. The two ministers discussed the current situation in Kosovo and the upcoming celebration of the termination of supervised independence.

Minister Pusić stressed that a stable region and European perspectives is in Croatia's interests, and for that reason, Croatia has begun to share its knowledge and experiences gained in the accession negotiations with the European Union through the Centre for Excellence.
