Ministers Grlić Radman, Brnjac meet with Seychellois Foreign Minister Radegonde

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman and Tourism and Sports Minister Nikolina Brnjac on Tuesday met with Seychellois Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism Sylvester Radegonde

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman and Tourism and Sports Minister Nikolina Brnjac on Tuesday met with Seychellois Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism Sylvester Radegonde.

The ministers discussed topics such as climate change, sustainable tourism, fisheries and the effect of the pandemic on the economy and tourism, as well as the possibilities of advancing economic relations, notably in the areas of tourism, blue economy and environmental protection.

“Seychelles is a key partner to the EU in the Indian Ocean, especially in the new geopolitical context,” Grlić Radman underscored.

The ministers welcomed the opening of Seychellois honorary consulate in Croatia, agreeing that it would augment the further development of political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries.

Radegonde said Seychelles also wished to learn from Croatian experts in the area of vocational education and training.
