Minister Žužul in Toulouse, France, at the presentation of world’s largest passenger plane, Airbus A380

Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul took part today, 18 January 2005, in Toulouse, France, at the official presentation of one of the EU members’ biggest joint technological achievements, the world’s largest passenger airplane, Airbus A380

The ceremonial presentation of Airbus A380 is the most important political and economic event in the EU at the beginning of 2005. France, Great Britain, Germany and Spain, members of the Airbus consortium who took part in the development and construction of the world’s largest passenger plane, Airbus A380, have proven today in Toulouse the importance of uniting knowledge, technology and economy of the EU members in achieving even the most demanding tasks with spectacular results. Airbus A380 can take up to 840 passengers, and is expected to be put to commercial use early-2006.
