Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul had today, 15 March 2004, in Parliament's building in Jerusalem, a very friendly and cordial official meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon
Minister Žužul and Prime Minister Sharon expressed their satisfaction with very good and friendly relations between the two countries, especially in political matters. The meeting discussed the concrete aspects of political bilateral relations, as well as the multilateral relations of the two countries. A special topic were the various forms of future economic co-operation, especially in high technology, agriculture, science and medicine. There are no open political issues between Croatia and Israel, and that will help a full development of relations between the two countries in all areas, whereby both countries are determined to achieve much more than they did so far. Israel is prepared to invest in Croatian economy to mutual advantage.
Prime Minister Sharon extended an invitation to Prime Minister Ivo Sanader to pay an official visit to Israel, and the three Croatian ministers, headed by Minister Žužul, invited their Israeli colleagues to come to Croatia. Prime Minister Sanader’s visit to Israel is due August or September this year.
