Minister, together with highest MFAEI representatives, met with Croatian ambassadors accredited to EU and NATO members and candidates

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković, together with the highest representatives of the Ministry, met on 28 January 2008 with the ambassadors of the Republic of Croatia accredited to the EU and NATO member and candidate countries

The meeting was dedicated to reviewing current issues concerning the realisation of Croatia’s foreign policy priorities. Minister Jandroković informed the ambassadors in detail about certain components essential for the further development and dynamics of the relation with the EU and NATO. The ambassadors familiarised the Minister and the Ministry’s top officials with the positions of their receiving countries as regards the current events in both of the processes, and exchanged opinions about the details regarding Croatia’s accession to the Euro-Atlantic integration.

The meeting also saw the participation of the Croatian President’s Special Advisors for International Relations Budimir Lončar and European Integration Anica Djamić.

The meeting with Minister Jandroković was preceded by a working meeting with Croatian President Stjepan Mesić and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader.
