First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić wrapped up her official visit to Turkmenistan with a meeting with Satlyk Satlykov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, with whom she talked about Croatia’s companies qualified for infrastructural and transport works. The two officials pointed out that President Berdimuhamedov had expressed readiness to order two more ships from Croatia’s shipyards.

On her second day in Ashgabat, Pusić met with Parliament Speaker Akja Nuberdiyeva, with whom she discussed the workings of the parliament. Mejlis is a unicameral parliament, with its 125 MPs being elected to a five-year period.

Pusić also attended a celebration of Turkmenistan's Independence Day.

After Turkmenistan, Pusić is to leave for Kazakhstan, where she will hold talks with Prime Minister Karim Massimov, Foreign Minister Erlan Idrissov, and Minister for Development and Investment Aset Isekeshev.
